Congratulations to Shrey Parikh, the 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion, as of this evening, who won at the end of an amazing spell-off. Shrey broke the record of the most words spelled correctly in a 90-second spell-off with 32 words; the record was previously help by Bruhat Soma, the 2024 Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion, with 29 words spelled correctly in a 90-second spell-off. Finally, congratulations to all spellers who competed this year! You are all amazing, and I wish you all the best for next year!
